1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Everydoor Marketing LLC (“Everydoor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the websites, forms, communications, products, and services that link to it. Everydoor operates or supports a group of local-business marketing brands and solutions, which may include CityGuru, Tivyo, Agent Recommends, ShopLocal Gazette, website services, print marketing, and related offerings.

A product or brand may provide an additional privacy notice when its practices differ from this policy. That additional notice will control for the practices it specifically addresses.

We ask that you not send highly sensitive information—such as Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, health information, or government identification—through ordinary website forms.

3. Sources of information

We may receive information directly from you; automatically from your browser or device; from businesses or professionals who create or manage profiles; from service providers such as hosting, analytics, payment, email, and advertising providers; from referral partners; and from publicly available business sources.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, personalize, maintain, and improve our websites, profiles, directories, products, and marketing services.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide support, prepare proposals, and communicate about accounts or projects.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, billing, fulfillment, and related records.
  • Create and display business listings, professional profiles, recommendations, or other content requested by customers.
  • Measure website and campaign performance, understand usage, troubleshoot problems, and develop new features.
  • Send service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications that can be unsubscribed from.
  • Detect fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep websites functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure campaigns, and support advertising. Some cookies are necessary; others may be optional depending on the site and applicable law.

You can control cookies through our consent tool when presented, through your browser settings, and through supported privacy signals. Blocking some technologies may affect site functionality.

6. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to vendors that help us provide hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, printing, shipping, customer support, security, and professional services; to customers or the public when information is intentionally published in a business listing or profile; to business and referral partners as needed to provide a requested service; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets; and when required to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.

Service providers are permitted to process information only for authorized business purposes and subject to applicable contractual or legal obligations.

7. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising technologies may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under some state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. Where required, we provide a way to opt out and honor qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals.

If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting legal requirements, and protecting against fraud.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the relationship, and applicable obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful exceptions.

9. Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No Internet transmission, storage system, or security practice can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using strong credentials and protecting access to your accounts and devices.

10. Your choices

  • Marketing email: Use the unsubscribe link in a promotional email. We may still send non-promotional service messages.
  • Account or profile information: Update available fields in your account or contact us for assistance.
  • Cookies: Use the available cookie tool, browser controls, or supported opt-out signals.
  • Privacy requests: Email us using the address below. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

11. California and other U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies to Everydoor, you may have the right to request access to or confirmation of personal information; correction; deletion; a portable copy; information about categories of collection and disclosure; and an opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

You may also have the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information and to appeal a denied request.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authority and identity verification.

To submit a request, email hany@everydoor.marketing with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe the request and the Everydoor service involved.

If we deny a request and your state provides an appeal right, reply with “Privacy Appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

12. Children's privacy

Our websites and services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Third-party websites and services

Our services may link to third-party websites, social networks, payment services, maps, or business websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy. We encourage you to review those notices before providing information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
